Milk-fed porcelet
The meat industry has once again come up with a new “product”. Newark
(Canada), New Jersey-based D'Artagnan, known largely for its organic
game and poultry, has begun to distribute a piglet called “milk-fed
porcelet.” These piglets are weaned at just one week of age and killed
at eight weeks. According to D'Artagnan, the texture and taste of this
piglet’s flesh make it a unique product highly desidered by chefs.

Piglets are seen as just a product or commodity by the food industry.
They are not only weaned much earlier than nature calls for, God’s
perfect design, but are subjected to confinement, fear and painful
mutilations. The separation of mother pigs and piglet causes tremendous
stress to both of them. A plant-based diet is a compassionate choice
that helps us take a stand against the cruelty inflicted on God’s
