US scientist and evangelical joining efforts
A group of US scientists and evangelical leaders, organized by the
National Association of Evangelicals, joined forces to protect and
restore the Earth’s environment, especially against global warming.
They are urging President Bush and others to help. Dr. Eric Chivian
of Harvard believes that "Scientists and evangelicals share a deep moral
commitment to preserve this precious gift we have all been given."
During next Tuesday's State of the Union address, President Bush is
expected to offer a policy change on global warming.

It’s great news to hear that concerned scientists and evangelical
leaders are joining their efforts to protect God’s creation from the
devastation of human disobedience and irresponsibility. There is hope
every time humanity chooses compassion and respect for the rest of God’s
creatures and the environment.
