Humanity’s Survival at Risk
A study involving 1,400 scientists
has concluded that at the rate humanity is using Earth's resources
our very survival is at risk. According to the United Nations
Environment Program, the “point of no return” is fast approaching.
Each person in the world now requires a third more land to supply
his/her needs than the Earth can supply; and already 30% of
amphibians, 23%of mammals and 12% of birds are under threat of
extinction. To make things worse, 1 out 10 of the world’s major
rivers runs dry every year before it reaches the sea.

"Humanity's very survival" is at risk, says UN
One way to reduce dramatically the
use of precious resources, such as water, land and fossil fuels is
to adopt a plant-based diet. Raising animals for food is terribly
inefficient and also contaminates the Earth and causes tremendous
suffering to billions of God's animals every year.
