CBS Evening News: Overuse of Antibiotics in Farmed Animals
On Tuesday, February 9, and Wednesday, February 10, CBS Evening News reported on the overuse of antibiotics in food animal production in the US. In spite of the overwhelming evidence that its overuse is a health concern for humans, the meat industry defends it on the grounds of cost vs. profit.
