
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey issued his first veto and it had to do with a bill that would have removed cows, pigs, chickens and other farmed animals from the definition of “animal” in the state’s anti-cruelty statute.

Those who want to pretend that God’s farmed animals should not be treated with compassion are those who profit from their exploitation. Profit is not just monetary, but may show in different ways.
