Tyson Exploits Workers
More than 3,000 current and former employees of a Tyson pork processing facility in Iowa sued the company in 2007 because they had not been paid for overtime. Tyson refused to pay and took the matters to the Supreme Court. Fortunately, a jury awarded Tyson employees $5.8 million for past due wages.
