NBA goes leather-free
Leather-free: The NBA has decided to go leather-free and instead to opt for synthetic basketballs. Even thought this news is nor related directly to vegetarianism, it does show a better stewardship of God’s creation by choosing not to use the skin of cows, which are raised under cruel conditions, and by doing what it’s best for the environment since, according to this article, the chemicals used for the tanning of leather are tremendously contaminating.
