The Garden of Eden was vegetarian
Health news: The Garden of Eden was vegetarian, which tells us that a
plan-based diet is God’s ideal and therefore healthy for us. Despite
that notion that people with Type 2 diabetes are to limit carbohydrates,
recent studies have shown that a well-balanced vegetarian diet might be
the optimal diet for the Type 2 diabetes sufferers.
In one of the studies published by the American Journal of
Cardiology, 20 percent of participants who followed a plant-based diet
for a year were able to cut or eliminate their insulin and other
glucose-lowering medications. This kind of results had already been seen
by Dr. Dean Ornish, a proponent of the very-low-fat approach for
reversing heart disease, who reported that a vegan diet also helped
people with diabetes. Also, a four-month trial, funded by the National
Institutes of Health, showed that a low-fat vegetarian diet improved
blood sugar control and LDL cholesterol levels.
