The lives of fish
It’s not uncommon for many people to adopt a “vegetarian” diet that
includes fish. Fish are animals who are usually regarded as lower or
inferior as the rest of farmed animals. However, more studies are
shedding light into the lives of fish raising awareness about their
		complex lives.
"I never eat anyone I know personally. I wouldn't deliberately eat
a grouper any more than I'd eat a cocker spaniel. They're so
good-natured, so curious. You know, fish are sensitive, they have
personalities, they hurt when they're wounded," said Dr. Sylvia
Earle, one of the world's leading marine biologists.
There’s enough evidence that indicates fish are smart creatures,
capable of feeling pain, with long-term memories, and complex social
		structures and behaviors.

Once we learn about the suffering of God’s animals it’s easier to
empathize and object to participating in their exploitation. Millions of
fish die every year at the hands of humans and many of them suffer
painful and slow deaths. Fish should be included in our circle of
		compassion, thus honoring God’s creation.
