Dolphins and Whales Decimated by Fishing Industry
A new report from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP)
finds that industrial fishing is responsible for the death of almost
9 out of 10 toothed whales—including dolphins and porpoises— who are
threatened by entanglement and subsequent drowning in gillnets,

The number of aquatic animals killed as "bycatch" by the fishing
industry is appalling. Killing and discarding animals raises serious
ethical issues that cannot be ignored. It is up to each of us to
support only industries that honor God's Creation by showing
compassion and reverence to all creatures.
