Bird Flu Pandemic:
Why Factory Farming Could Be Blamed
This is the first part of a great 2-part interview (part 2 will be featured tomorrow) with Dr. Michael Greger, Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at The Humane Society of the United States, in which he clearly explains the many deep concerns about factory farming in relation to the much feared bird flu (H5N1) virus. Dr. Greger discusses the possibility of a bird flu pandemic and its devastating consequences, given that this virus has 60% mortality of those it infects.

Once again we are reminded of the simple fact that our actions have consequences. Factory farming is devastating and unless we find a way to put an end to it, we will continue to witness and experience much suffering.
