The mere fact that 80% of antibiotics in the U.S. are used in
livestock should raise a red flag. Despite that the National Pork
Producers Council claims that existing regulations "provide adequate
safeguards against antibiotic resistance," the Centers for Disease
Control has issued a report stating that this overuse of antibiotics
in farmed animals is a leading cause of antibiotic-resistant
bacteria.

Factory farming is able to exist because of antibiotics;
otherwise, God’s farmed animals would not be able to survive the
cruelty, the disease and the unsanitary conditions that are the norm
in factory farms. Let’s all take part in making this world a

animal-based agriculture industry and instead adopting a plant-based
diet.
